This 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A statement explains Velart's intended service scope. Velart is a general image and video generation tool, not an adult-entertainment producer or publisher. This statement does not claim a government-issued exemption and does not excuse unlawful content or conduct.

1. Adults-only service
Velart is available only to people who are at least 18 years old. A person under 18 may not register, access, or use the service. An age representation does not authorize prohibited sexual content or replace any identity or performer-verification duty that may apply under law.
2. Nature of Velart
Velart provides automated tools that generate synthetic images and videos from user instructions and permitted reference material. Velart does not hire, contract with, direct, or arrange for performers to engage in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct, and its authorized service is not intended to create, publish, or distribute such depictions.
3. Basis of this statement
18 U.S.C. § 2257 generally imposes performer age-verification, recordkeeping, and labeling duties on producers of covered visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in actual sexually explicit conduct. Section 2257A addresses certain depictions involving actual human beings engaged in simulated sexually explicit conduct. Content created and used in compliance with Velart's rules is not intended to fall within those categories. The legal treatment of a particular image depends on the facts, not merely on this statement or an AI label.
4. Prohibited material
Velart prohibits child sexual abuse material, any sexualized depiction of a person under 18, pornographic or sexually explicit depictions of actual or identifiable people, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, exploitation, trafficking, and any attempt to evade safety controls. Prohibited material may be removed, preserved when legally required, and reported to appropriate authorities.
5. User-submitted material
Users must not upload or generate covered material and must have permission to process every reference image. A user's unauthorized submission does not make it approved, adopted, or produced by Velart for purposes of this policy. Users remain responsible for their submissions, while Velart may investigate and act on reports under its Terms and applicable law.
6. Record custodian
Because Velart does not authorize or intentionally publish material for which performer records are required, Velart does not designate a custodian of § 2257 performer records for compliant user generations. If Velart's activities change so that §§ 2257 or 2257A apply, the operator will establish the required verification and recordkeeping process and publish the legally required custodian statement before distributing covered material.
7. Reporting concerns
Report suspected underage, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise prohibited material immediately through the Velart Contact page. Include the relevant URL, asset or generation identifier, and enough information for us to locate the material, but do not resend illegal imagery. For immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or the appropriate child-protection reporting service.
